One of my passions in life has been art. Painting, sculpting, carving, writing and playing music, and even creating books.
This website is devoted to these endeavors, and the sale of some of my work.
I hope you enjoy the journey through this site. Thanks for stopping by…

All those that once lived remain, in some form or another, on this planet that created them.
What were once the living eyes of the universe are now dormant memories only those that lived them remember.
Since the beginning of mans having walked the Earth he has used tools, stone, pigment, and imagination to record his memories, his fears, and his accomplishments.
Those that have passed have returned their elements to the sand, rock, and dust we’re all composed of.
Their energy remains in some form in the compositions waiting to be discovered.

Music

I studied music for quite a few years in my earlier life, From College of the Redwoods, to Dick Groves Music School, to UCLA and various composer forums.
When I was living in the Dominican Republic, from 1995 until a few years ago,
I played guitar in a jazz group and
composed and recorded over 50 pieces for guitar and orchestra.
Here are a few pieces from my YouTube page.
I’m currently working on a few new compositions, hope to have some new selections soon.

The Sack in the Street

The Sack in the Street

Our son James was born in Santo Domingo in December 2003. At the time we had a little Schnauzer dog named Shadow. I wrote this story in verse about the two.

This book is available on this website, or at Amazon.

I illustrated this using some children’s watercolors in about an hour and wrote the text in marker.

A few days later we flew to Los Angeles to visit my mother Edna Campbell. I gave her my creation, she liked it and fixed the text. Mom was in the business of printing art portfolios and books for limited distribution.
She sent a copy to her partner in Taiwan, who printed us 3,000 copies.

Monkey Business

Monkey Business

Another childrens book waiting for publishing. I’ll probably do the self publish bit again as finding a Literary Agent and going the traditional rout seems unrealistic.

This book is somewhat geared towards the parents and their views of how everything their son does is adorable, when in reality hes into making a mess of everything. Its like there are a band of mischievous monkeys lose in the house.
